Choosing an Outrigger
4.5-foot Outrigger, Single-Pole Version. A popular stabilizer for any paddlecraft. The outrigger arm attaches to the kayak deck (behind the paddler). It is made of 1” x 4.5” x 6’ select-grain wood.
Offered factory installed or for self-installation.

4.5-foot HV Outrigger, Double-Pole Version. Our innovative stern-mounted Outrigger Safety System provides tremendous stability. It is a confidence booster for novice paddlers and supplies adventurers with an extra margin of safety. It functions as an ever-ready safety system without affecting the performance of the boat. Outrigger poles (1.5” diameter x 6’) are made of extra-strong fiberglass/epoxy. This outrigger fits the center section of an Eskimo Take-A-Part kayak.
Available for Easy Rider CR-kayaks only. Requires factory installation of Outrigger Prep.

8-foot HHV Outrigger. Its 127-pound buoyancy provides ample stability for sailing with airfoil sails up to 32 sq. ft. This is also a great safety outrigger for paddling expedition-style. It can be mounted in the center position for best sailing or in the aft position for unrestricted use of a kayak paddle.
Available for Easy Rider CR-kayaks only. Requires factory installation of Outrigger Prep.

8-foot HHV Outrigger/Take-A-Part Version. The two-piece version of our popular 8-foot HHV Outrigger can be taken apart and stowed inside the center section of an Eskimo Take-A-Part kayak. It’s the adventure traveler’s outrigger of choice.
Available for Easy Rider CR-kayaks only. Requires factory installation of Outrigger Prep.

10-foot HV Outrigger. 182 pounds of buoyancy and the outrigger of choice when planning to outfit an Easy Rider CR-kayak (single or double) with up to two airfoil sails. This outrigger provides great stability for scuba diving etc.
Available for Easy Rider CR-kayaks only. Requires factory installation of Outrigger Prep.

12.5-foot HV Outrigger. 220 pounds of buoyancy! The most popular outrigger for all-around family use. Attach it to your kayak, add a rigid platform, and you have a rig for scuba diving, snorkeling, sunbathing... The outrigger of choice for sailing with three airfoil sails (Eskimo 22-6), and for carrying a companion on the rigid platform.

Outrigger/Catamaran Preps. The factory installation of stainless-steel plates under the boat deck, for outrigger or catamaran-pole attachment. These Boat Preps. are available factory installed only.
Customers who intend to purchase an Easy Rider Outrigger or Catamaran System at a later date, are encouraged to order their CR-kayaks with the necessary Boat Preps. This is especially important if they do not live within driving distance to our factory. Prep. costs will be deducted from the price of the entire item at the time of purchase.

Use the Rigid Platform #2208W or #2209W in combination with our soft trampolines. Place it on top of a trampoline and in between the outrigger poles -- it'll stay firmly in place.
