Dolphin CRX 2G Catamaran Rig with Airfoil Sail Option
Lightweight Kevlar/Graphite Construction

Two Dolphin CRX 2G in lightweight Kevlar/Graphite (for easy out-of-water handling) were the magic carpet for Easy Rider’s Peter and Barbara Kaupat during a summer’s paddling vacation on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula.
Their boats were outfitted with catamaran and sailing options. A rigid platform placed on top of a soft trampoline came in handy for transporting salmon purchased from gill-netting Quileute Indians at La Push.
And when cruising on nearby Lake Ozette, Peter hoisted one of their two airfoil sails to take advantage of favorable winds. One single sail provided plenty of push to move the catamaran rig at a fast clip.
